Biography
Henriette Mathis, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center and a member of the Division of Hospital Medicine.
Originally from Dallas, Dr. Mathis holds a bachelor's degree in biochemistry from Southern Methodist University. She earned her medical degree at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She completed internal medicine residency training at UW Boise.
Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Mathis joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2014 as a Faculty Associate. She was promoted to Assistant Professor in 2016. She is currently the Medical Director of the Medicine Secure Unit at Parkland Health and Hospital System and Course Director of Medicine 1915 at UT Southwestern Medical Center.
Personal Note
Dr. Mathis’ interests outside of medicine include music, cooking, reading, and traveling.
