Mauck, M.D., is an Associate Professor in the Department of Urology at UT Southwestern Medical Center. As a general urologist, Dr. Mauck also serves as Chief of Urology at Parkland Health & Hospital System in Dallas. He is certified by the American Board of Urology and is a member of the American Urological Association. Dr. Mauck’s research interests include benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and urologic trauma and reconstruction, topics on which he writes for medical publications. Dr. Mauck earned his medical degree with honors at the University of South Florida College of Medicine before coming to UT Southwestern to complete an internship in surgery and residency in urology. He also holds an undergraduate degree in electrical engineering (biomedical) from Southern Methodist University, where he was also a member of the nationally ranked tennis team. Dr. Mauck joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2012.
