  • Biography

    Hsiao-Ching “Jenny” Li, M.D. is an Associate Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center and a member of the Division of Hematology and Oncology. Her clinical interests include breast cancer and leukemia. She is the Medical Director of the outpatient hematology clinics at Parkland Health and Hospital System.

    Originally from Taipei, Taiwan, Dr. LI holds a bachelor’s degree in physiological science from the University of California-Los Angeles. She earned her medical degree at Albany Medical College and completed internal medicine residency training at the Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center. She then completed advanced training through a fellowship in clinical nutrition at UCLA and in hematology and oncology at Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center.

    Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in hematology and medical oncology, Dr. Li joined the UT Southwestern Faculty in 2015. She serves as a member of UT Southwestern’s Institutional Review Board and PHHS’s Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee, as well as Chair of the P&T Hematology/Oncology Subcommittee.

    Dr. Li’s research interests include the effectiveness of chemotherapy and improving clinical care. Her investigations have resulted in several publications in peer-reviewed journals.

    Dr. Li is a member of the American College of Physicians, the American Society of Hematology, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, and Health Volunteers Overseas.
