Research Interest

  • Dr. Trombello is a board-certified clinical psychologist. His research focuses on the interplay between mood disorders and intimate relationship functioning. His work also examines how relationship functioning affects the etiology and treatment of mood and substance use disorders. Finally, he is interested in measurement psychometrics and in analyzing outcomes of the Center for Depression Research and Clinical Care's Behavioral Activation teletherapy program.
