Biography Dr. Daniel Kianpour is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Anesthesiology and Pain Management. He graduated from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in 2010 and completed his residency in anesthesiology at the University of Washington in 2014. Dr. Kianpour worked as an anesthesiologist at Seattle's Swedish Medical Center from 2015 to 2018 and served as an Assistant Professor at Strong Memorial Hospital of the University of Rochester from 2018 to 2023 prior to joining the faculty at UT Southwestern. He has authored publications in anesthesiology, including reports on the postoperative use of erector spinae plane block and thalamic infarction following a lumbar drain.
