Biography

Gong Chen, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center and a member of the Division of Hospital Medicine. 

Dr. Chen holds a bachelor's degree in Biochemistry with honors from the University of Texas at Austin. He received his medical degree from UT Southwestern Medical Center and completed internal medicine residency training at Tulane University Medical Center in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Chen joined the UT Southwestern Faculty in 2021. He is currently a hospitalist with Parkland Health and Hospital System.
