Biography
Subhasri Kannan, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center and a member of the Division of Hospital Medicine.
Originally from Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, Dr. Kannan earned her medical degree at Madras Medical College in Chennai, India. She completed a certificate in the Clinical Safety and Effectiveness program at UT Southwestern Medical Center, as well as a Certificate in Public Health from the University of Texas Health Science Center of Houston. She completed internal medicine residency training at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia and Abington Memorial Hospital in Abington, Pennsylvania.
Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Kannan joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2007. Dr. Kannan is a Hospitalist at Parkland Health and Hospital System.
Dr. Kannan is a member of the American College of Physicians.
