Anne Brancaccio, M.D.

Anne Brancaccio, M.D., is an Associate Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center and a member of the Division of General Internal Medicine. Dr. Brancaccio's clinical interests include Veteran's Affairs medical care and caring for older adults.

Originally from Cincinnati, Dr. Brancaccio holds a bachelor's degree in public policy from the University of Chicago. She received her medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, and completed internal medicine residency training at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. 

Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, she joined the UT Southwestern Faculty as an Assistant Professor in 2004. She was promoted to Associate Professor of Internal Medicine in 2009.

Dr. Brancaccio is currently the Medical Director of Clinic 3 at the Dallas VA Medical Center.

At Ut Southwestern, Dr. Brancaccio has been involved in the Journal Club as the Education Director, an Ethics Facilitator, an Epic Super User, and is a current mentor of the colleges program. she was also part of the Aston Clinical Quality Improvement Committee, the COPD Workgroup and the HAC Workgroup. 

Dr. Brancaccio's teaching activities include the Noon Resident Lecture Series, the Ambulatory Care Lecture Series, and the Morning report for 4th-year medical students and residents.
