Biography
Adrian Salazar, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center and a member of the Division of General Internal Medicine.
Originally from Waco, Texas, Dr. Salazar holds a bachelor's degree in honors liberal arts and Mexican-American studies from the University of Texas at Austin. He also holds a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering and biomedical engineering from the University of Texas at Austin. He earned his medical degree at UT Southwestern Medical Center. He then went on to complete internal medicine residency training at UT Southwestern Medical Center.
Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Salazar joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2008. He is currently an Academic Colleges Mentor in Cary College.
Dr. Salazar was among the Best Doctors in Dallas list by D Magazine in 2015.
