Rajbir Bakshi, M.D. Professor School Medical School Department Psychiatry Biography Dr. Bakshi completed his medical degree at Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Medical College, Bangalore, India, and his psychiatry residency and fellowship training in geriatric psychiatry at UT Southwestern Medical Center. Along with subspecialty certification in geriatric psychiatry, he is a diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Many times awarded and nominated as teacher of the year by fellows and residents during his career, he is the program director for the geriatric psychiatry fellowship at UT Southwestern.
