  • Biography

    Maria Ramos-Roman, M.D., M.Sc., is an Associate Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center and a member of the Division of Endocrinology.

    Originally from San Juan, Puerto Rico, Dr. Ramos-Roman holds a bachelor's degree in biology and earned her medical degree at the University of Puerto Rico. She completed internal medicine residency training at University District Hospital in San Juan and completed advanced training through a fellowship in endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She later earned a master's degree in clinical science from UT Southwestern.

    Dr. Ramos-Roman is a member of the American Diabetes Association, the Endocrine Society, and the American Society for Bone and Mineral Research.
