Jaskeerat Gulati, M.D. Assistant Instructor School Medical School Department Internal Medicine Biography Jaskeerat Singh Gulati, M.D., is an Assistant Instructor and Chief Resident in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern with the Education Office. His clinical interests include medical education and cardiovascular disease. Dr. Gulati grew up in Houston, Texas and holds a bachelor's degree in biochemistry from Rice University. He earned his medical degree at UT Southwestern, where he also completed a three-year categorical internal medicine residency. Dr. Gulati's research interests include the integration of cardiac point-of-care ultrasound into medical education, as well as the exploration of diuretic responsiveness in patients with heart failure. He is also interested in exploring the role of clinical and subclinical biomarkers in patients with infiltrative cardiomyopathies. He has presented his research at both local and national conferences, including the Heart Failure Society of America and the American Heart Association. Dr. Gulati's interests outside of medicine include basketball, cooking, exploring different cuisines in Dallas, and spending time with family and friends.
