Biography

Rhoda Jiao, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center and member of its Division of Hospital Medicine.

Practicing medicine is an act of service to my community - learning about it, being a part of it, and giving back in the ways I can.

Dr. Jiao earned her medical degree at UT Southwestern and completed internal medicine residency training at the University of New Mexico Medical Center. She also holds bachelor's degrees in biology and psychology from the University of Texas at Austin.

Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Jiao joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2024.

Dr. Jiao's clinical interests include preventing cardiovascular disease and heart transplantation.

Personal Note

In her free time, Dr. Jiao enjoys reading, baking, and playing board games.
