Mahdieh Kazemimoghadam, Ph.D. Instructor School Medical School Department Radiation Oncology Biography Mahdieh Kazemimoghadam, Ph.D., is an Instructor of Radiation Oncology at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She is part of the Department of Radiation Oncology’s Division of Medical Physics & Engineering and specializes in machine learning, deep learning, and artificial intelligence-based algorithms to improve patient care and to accommodate automating clinical workflow. Dr. Kazemimoghadam earned her doctorate degree in biomedical engineering from UT Dallas. Following graduation, she started a postdoctoral research position at UT Southwestern in the Medical Artificial Intelligence and Automation Lab (MAIA). Her research interests include medical image segmentation, deep learning in healthcare, and integrating artificial intelligence into clinical workflow.
