Biography

Kylie Cullinan, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine and the Department of Pediatrcs at UT Southwestern medical center. She practices primary care at the Internal Medicine & Pediatrics clinic, where she finds joy in partnering with patients of all ages in understanding and optimizing their health.

Originally from Spring, Texas, Dr. Cullinan received her bachelor's degree in Biochemistry & Cell Biology & English from Rice University.  She earned her medical degree from UT Southwestern and continued her training at  UT Southwestern to complete her residency in Internal Medicine & Pediatrics. During residency, she enjoyed opportunities to work with students and completed additonal training in medical education, and developed a patient educational program to  improve patient's care as they transition from pediatric to adult health care. She is continuing as faculty at UT Southwestern in the Internal Medicine & Pediatrics Clinic, where she is excited by the opportunity to promote health across the lifespan and to teach students and residents at the bedside. 

In her free time, she enjoys getting outside to bike and run, spending quality time with her family and their pets, podcasts, and a good fiction book!
