Biography Sara Lalani, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center and a member of the Division of Hospital Medicine. Dr. Lalani earned her bachelor's degree in biology and psychology at the University of Houston, where she graduated magna cum laude. She completed her medical education and internal medicine residency training at the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio. Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Lalani joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2022. She is currently a hospitalist at University Hospitals. Dr. Lalani is a member of the American Medical Association, the Texas Medical Association, and the American College of Physicians. Personal Note Outside of medicine, Dr. Lalani enjoys hiking, photography, baking, cooking, and visiting national parks. She is also proficient in Urdu.
