Biography Komal Muradali, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center and a member of the Division of Hospital Medicine. Originally from Santa Monica, California, Dr. Muradali holds a bachelor's degree in neuroscience and behavioral biology from Emory University in Atlanta. She earned her medical degree from UT Southwestern Medical Center. She completed internal medicine residency training at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, where she was Chief Medical Resident. Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Muradali joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2022.
