Biography Carey Le Mener, M.D., is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern medical Center and a member of its Division of General Internal Medicine. Dr. Le Mener also serves as Medical Director at the UT Southwestern Executive Health Clinic. Her clinical interests include preventive medicine, population health, value-based care, and lifestyle medicine which takes a proactive approach to overall wellness by motivating physicians and boosing healthcare outcomes through relationship-centered leadership. Dr. Le Mener holds a bachelor's degree in biochemistry from Abilene Christian University where she graduated summa cum laude. She earned her medical degree with honors from Baylor College of Medicine, and completed family medicine residency training at CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Family Medicine in San Antonio, where she also served as Chief Resident. I am a family physician and have been deeply involved over the years in population health and value-based care. Dr. Le Mener, a visionary physician leader with an exceptional understanding of organizational change and the consequential demands on leadership during business transformation, has demonstrated success in driving growth and change. She is well-recognized for creating and implementing programs and long-term strategies that deliver high value care and align with the vision and mission held by the company and national medical organizations. Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine, Dr. Le Mener joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2023. Prior to joining UT Southwestern, Dr. Le Mener practiced advanced primary care at Baylor Scott & White Health in Dallas and served in administrative and leadership roles such as Medical Director for Comprehensive Care Management at Baylor Scott & White Quality Alliance and Vice President of Primary Care for the BSW system. She also served as Senior Vice President and Chief Network and Physician Experience Officer at Southwestern Health Resources in Dallas. Personal Note Outside of work, Dr. Le Mener enjoys reading, spending time with her family, and traveling.
