Jonathan Maddox, D.V.M. Titles and Appointments Clinical Assistant Professor Schools Medical School Departments Radiation Oncology Biography Jonathan Maddox, D.V.M., is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology at UT Southwestern Medical Center. He is a clinical veterinarian and faculty in the Department’s Veterinary Research and Oncology Clinic, which specializes in veterinary medical oncology. Dr. Maddox is a veteran of the United States Air Force. He earned his bachelor’s degree in biology from New Mexico State University. He then went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in veterinary medicine before completing his doctoral degree in veterinary medicine at Texas A&M University. Following graduation Dr. Maddox completed a small animal general internship. Dr Maddox has over two decades of small animal veterinarian expertise, including emergency and critical care, soft tissue surgery, preventative care, and providing locum services to veterinary clinics.
