Biography Elie Saad, M.D., is an Assistant Professor of Radiology at UT Southwestern Medical Center and a member of its Nuclear Medicine Division. Dr. Saad served as Clinical Director of the Division of Nuclear Medicine at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore and later as an Assistant Professor of Radiology in the Division of Nuclear Medicine. He earned his medical degree from the Lebanese American University in 2013, where he also completed his residency in Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology in 2018. He subsequently completed clinical fellowships in Nuclear Medicine—PET/CT and Cross-Sectional Body Imaging at Johns Hopkins Hospital in 2021. A Diplomate of the American Board of Radiology, Dr. Saad specializes in Nuclear Medicine and Body Imaging, with a clinical focus on oncology and cardiac diseases. His research centers on nuclear imaging techniques for evaluating cardiac involvement in systemic sarcoidosis. Dr. Saad joined our faculty in January 2026.
