  • Biography

    Dr. Solnes is a Professor in our Nuclear Medicine Division and Vice Chair at Large. She received her MD and MBA degrees from Columbia University. She completed a Radiology residency and Neuroradiology fellowship at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center and a Nuclear Radiology fellowship at Weill Cornell Medical Center. Most recently, Dr. Solnes served as the Chief of Nuclear Medicine at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore. While at Johns Hopkins she held several leadership positions including Program Director for the Nuclear Medicine Residency, PET/CT Fellowship, Molecular Imaging Residency and Diagnostic Radiology Residency programs. She was also the Director of the Radiotheranostic Center and the IRAT lab. Her research focuses on the translation of novel therapeutic agents into the clinic.

    Dr. Solnes joined our faculty in Februrary 2026.
