Biography Dr. Coe, M.D. earned her Bachelor of Science degree and Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of California, San Diego. She completed her general surgery residency at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. As part of her surgical training, she pursued fellowships in surgical education and leadership at Massachusetts General Hospital and the Association for Surgical Education. She also conducted research on pig-to-baboon liver xenotransplantation at the Center for Transplantation Sciences. Following reidency, Dr. Coe completed fellowship training in abdominal transplantation and hepatopancreatobiliary surgery at the University of Toronto.
