Biography Dr. Megan Bock is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Urology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. She is fellowship trained in endourology and specializes in endoscopic management of benign prostatic hyerplasia and kidney stone disease. She is board-certified by the American Board of Urology and holds medical licenses in Texas, Indiana and North Carolina. Dr. Bock is originally from New Jersey and holds an undergraduate degree from Washington and Lee University. She earned her medical degree at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and completed a residency in Urology at the Indiana University School of Medicine. She then received advanced training in Endourology and Metabolic Stone Disease at Duke University Medical Center. Since then she joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2025. Her clinical expertise spans the surgical treatment of complex kidney stone disease, metabolic management and prevention of nephrolithiais, and minimally invasive surgical techniques including holmium laser enucleation of the prostate (HoLEP). She is engaged in clinical research in enlarged prostate and kidney stone disease with a focus on improvement in patient outcomes and quality of life.
