Biography Derek Bartlett, Ph.D., serves in multiple roles in the UT Southwestern Psychiatry Department, including providing outpatient care in MSOPC, serving on the solid organ transplant teams (heart, liver, kidney, and lung), and working as a consult liaison psychologist at CUH. Dr. Bartlett earned his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Brigham Young University and completed both his internship and postdoctoral fellowship at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. His clinical background is in health psychology, with particular interests in transplant, chronic pain, biofeedback, insomnia, and cardiac conditions — including congenital and heart failure populations.
