Biography Bavithra Pari, M.D., is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern and a member of its Division of Hospital Medicine. Originally from India, Dr. Pari earned her medical degree from Government Mohan Kumaramangalam Medical College in Salem, India. She completed her residency in internal medicine at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, Louisiana, where she was recognized with the Clinical Excellence Award during her intern year. Dr. Pari has a strong interest in point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) and completed a certification program in POCUS as part of her residency training. She brings to UT Southwestern a solid foundation in general internal medicine and currently practices as a hospitalist, with a clinical focus on patient- and family-centered care. Dr. Pari is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American College of Physicians, American College of Cardiology, and Heart Rhythm Society. Personal Note Outside of medicine, Dr. Pari enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, trying various cuisines, and exploring outdoor trails with her son.
