Biography Syed Ali, M.D., is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center and a member of its Division of General Internal Medicine. Dr. Ali holds a bachelor's degree in biochemistry from Millsaps College in Jackson, Mississippi. He earned his medical degree at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jacksonville and then completed internal medicine residency training at Loma Linda University Medical Center in San Bernardino, California. Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Ali joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2025. Previously, he served as a hospitalist at Kaiser Fontana Hospital, a tertiary referral center for all Kaiser Permanente hospitals in San Bernardino and Riverside County, California. Dr. Ali is an active member of the American College of Physicians and the Society of General Internal Medicine. Personal Note Outside of medicine, Dr. Ali enjoys spending time with his family, exercising, watching NBA games and Formula 1 racing, and playing volleyball and table tennis.
