    Dr. Asch's research is to uncover the mechanistic underpinnings of how stress and trauma affect brain function, with a particular emphasis on how these experiences shape mental health outcomes. By gaining a deeper understanding of these processes, Dr. Asch aims to contribute to the development of novel interventions designed to mitigate the harmful effects of stress and trauma, foster resilience, and ultimately improve overall health and well-being.
