He is a fellowship-trained neuroradiologist with over 15 years of experience at leading academic and private institutions in Brazil. He completed an Advanced Fellowship in Neuroradiology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center (2025–2026). He earned his medical degree from the Federal University of São Paulo and completed his Radiology Residency and MRI Fellowship at UNIFESP, followed by a Neuroradiology Fellowship at the University of São Paulo, training at Hospital das Clínicas (HC-FMUSP), the largest teaching hospital in Latin America. Since 2010, Dr. Iquizli has served as Senior Neuroradiologist at Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein in São Paulo, consistently ranked as the leading hospital in Latin America. From 2022 to 2025, he served as Division Director of Neuroradiology, leading a team of 15 fellowship-trained neuroradiologists and overseeing clinical operations, quality initiatives, and protocol development within a high-volume imaging department. A recognized neurovascular imaging specialist, Dr. Iquizli contributed to the development of institutional stroke imaging protocols at Albert Einstein, a World Stroke Organization–certified Advanced Stroke Center. He is actively involved in medical education and has delivered lectures and conference presentations nationwide, contributing to resident and fellow training since 2010. Dr. Iquizli joined our faculty in March 2026.
