Laiba Husain, M.P.H., Ph.D. Titles and Appointments Assistant Instructor School School of Public Health Department Public Health Biography Download Curriculum Vitae Laiba Husain (BSc Hons, MPH, DPhil) is a Deans Early Impact Scholar at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and holds an honorary position at the Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences at the University of Oxford. Her recently completed DPhil focused on the digitalisation of healthcare services, with a particular emphasis on digital health disparities. In addition to her DPhil work, Laiba is a Fellow at The Healthcare Improvement Studies (THIS) Institute in Cambridge. Laiba holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biopsychology, Cognition, and Neuroscience from the University of Michigan and earned her Master’s in Public Health from the University of Birmingham as a US-UK Fulbright Grantee.
