Biography Lin Zhu, M.D., Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology at UT Southwestern Medical Center. Dr. Zhu joined UT Southwestern after completing residency at the Harvard Radiation Oncology Program, where she served as Chief Resident. Dr. Zhu received her bachelor’s degree in neuroscience from Wellesley College. She earned her Doctor of Philosophy in quantitative and computational biosciences as well as her Doctor of Medicine from Baylor College of Medicine. Prior to joining Harvard, Dr. Zhu completed her transitional year internship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Dr. Zhu brings a rich background in both clinical practice and research. She previously held research roles at MD Anderson Cancer Center, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, and Wellesley College, where she contributed to studies in neuroimaging, speech and language, music cognition, and radiation chemistry. Her research has been supported by the National Institutes on Deafness and Other Communication Disorders and the Radiation Oncology Institute.
