Biography Dmitri Ukraintsev, M.D., is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center and a member of its Division of Hospital Medicine. Dr. Ukraintsev holds a bachelor's degree in honors biochemistry from the University of Texas at Austin, where he earned a certificate in business foundations. He received his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio and completed internal medicine residency training at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, he joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2025. Dr. Ukraintsev’s clinical interests include nephrology and teaching. Personal Note When he’s not at work, Dr. Ukraintsev enjoys traveling and making music as an amateur singer-songwriter.
