Biography Dr. Nauser earned his bachelor's degree in chemistry from Boston College and his medical degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Medicine. He completed his general surgery residency at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. During residency, he spent three years at King's College London in the United Kingdom, where his research focused on the role of the complement system in kidney transplantation. Following residency, Dr. Nauser completed fellowship training in abdominal transplant surgery at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina.
