KyuHo Song, Ph.D. Titles and Appointments Assistant Professor Schools Medical School Departments Radiology Biography Dr. KyuHo Song is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiology, Medical Physics Division, at UT Southwestern Medical Center. He earned his doctoral degree in Biomedical Engineering and Medical Physics from the College of Medicine at The Catholic University of Korea. He subsequently completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Biomedical MR Center (BMRC), Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology (MIR), Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. Dr. Song's clinical and research interests focus on quantitative MRI, multinuclear metabolic imaging, and advanced imaging technologies. His research includes MRI hardware development, RF coil design, pulse sequence development, and quantitative image analysis, with an emphasis on translating advanced imaging techniques into clinical practice. Dr. Song has authored more than 30 scholarly publications and patents in the fields of medical imaging and MRI technology. Dr. Song is an active member of several professional organizations, including the International Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine (ISMRM), the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA), the American College of Radiology (ACR), and the American Association of Physicists in Medicine (AAPM).
