Haseeb Akuly, D.O. Assistant Professor School Medical School Department Psychiatry Biography Haseeb Akuly, D.O., earned a Master of Science in Pharmacology from Tulane University School of Medicine in 2008 and a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences in 2012. Dr. Akuly completed residency training in emergency medicine in 2017 at Coney Island Hospital and residency training in psychiatry in 2023 at Louisiana State University Health Sciences in Shreveport. Dr. Akuly evaluates and manages the care of veterans admitted to the Inpatient Psychiatric Unit in the VA North Texas Health Care System in Dallas.
