Biography
Oladipupo Olafiranye, M.D., is an Associate Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center in the Division of Cardiology.
Dr. Olafiranye earned his medical education at Obafemi Awolowo University in Nigeria where he also completed internal medicine residency training. He received additional internal medicine training and a pathology fellowship at St. George’s General Hospital in the West Indies. He received advanced training through fellowships at State University of New York (SUNY) and at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Brooklyn, followed by postdoctoral research training at the University of Pittsburg where he also received a certificate in Healthcare Leadership & Business Fundamentals.
Dr. Olafiranye joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2023.
