Biography

Ravikanth Nanduri, Ph.D.,  is an Instructor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center and a member of the Division of Infectious Diseases and Geographic Medicine.

Originally from India, Dr. Nanduri received his Ph.D. from the Institute of Microbial Technology, Chandigarh, India. He completed postdoctoral training at the Laboratory of Metabolism, National Cancer Institute, National Institutes of Health.

Dr. Nanduri’s research interests are in molecular biology and immunology with emphasis on metabolic disorders, autophagy, host-pathogen interactions, and anti-inflammatory diseases.

Personal Note:

Outside of medicine, Dr. Nanduri enjoys spending time with family, watching movies, and playing sports.
