Biography Charles Jiang, M.D., M.P.H., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center and a member of its Division of Hematology and Oncology. He specializes in genitourinary medical oncology with an emphasis on prostate, bladder, kidney, and testis cancer. Dr. Jiang earned his medical degree at the Medical College of Soochow University in Suzhou, China. He completed an internal medicine residency at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York and received advanced training through a fellowship in medical oncology and hematology at the Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center and the University at Buffalo. He also holds a Master of Public Health in chronic disease epidemiology from Yale University. Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, he joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2023. Dr. Jiang is a member of several professional societies, including the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), the Multinational Association of Supportive Care in Cancer, and the American Association for Cancer Research. His research interests include how to improve cancer survivorship and quality of life and reduce cancer-related health disparities. He has contributed to multiple publications and abstracts and given several presentations in his areas of expertise. In 2023, Dr. Jiang earned the Conquer Cancer Merit Awards from the ASCO Annual Meeting and the ASCO Quality Symposium. Personal Note When not at work, Dr. Jiang enjoys exploring various cuisines.
