Biography
Irfan S. Sheikh joined UT Southwestern in 2023.
His clinical interests include transitional care epilepsy and he serves as the Director for the Adult Tuberous Sclerosis program, critical care EEG and working with quantitive EEG analysis.
His research interests include EEG/Epilepsy education at the fellow and neurology resident level, QEEG and ICU EEG, and transitional care epilepsy. He also works closely with the Quality Informatics Subcommittee, part of the American Academy of Neurology in exploring and educating members on the use of new technologies such as Aritifical Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Natural Language Processing in quality improvement.
Dr Sheikh currently serves as the Director of the Adult Tuberous Sclerosis program and hopes to establish a comprehensive care clinic for patients with Advanced Genetic Epilepsies in the Dallas area.
