Biography Dr. Yuming (Yumes) Li is a Faculty Associate Optometrist at UT Southwestern Medical Center and a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. He is currently embedded with in the neuro-ophthalmology and pediatric subspecialities. Prior to joining UTSW's faculty, he was a Captain in the United States Army serving as the Assistant Chief of Optometry Services at William Beaumont Army Medical Center, Fort Bliss Texas. Dr. Li graduated with honors from The Ohio State University College of Optometry and was a recipient of the F. Edward Herbert's Armed Forces HPSP Scholarship. He completed externships at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (WRNMMC) in Bethesda, MD and at the Southern Arizona Veterans Administration Health Care System (SAVAHCS) in Tucson, AZ.
