Biography

Sarah Haroon, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center and a member of the Charles and Jane Pak Center for Mineral Metabolism and Clinical Research.

Dr. Haroon earned her medical degree at Aga Khan University in Karachi, Pakistan. She completed internal medicine residency training at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan, followed by advanced training through a fellowship program in endocrinology at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee.

Board certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Haroon joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2023.

Dr. Haroon is a member of the Endocrine Society, the American Association of Clinical Endocrinology, the American Society for Bone and Mineral Research, and the National Lipid Association.

Personal Note

Dr. Haroon speaks Urdu fluently. During her free time, she enjoys reading to her children and spending time relaxing with her family outdoors.
