Biography
Tahir Shaikh, M.D., is an Assistant Instructor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center and a member of the Division of Digestive and Liver Diseases.
Originally from Montreal, Quebec, Dr. Shaikh earned his bachelor's degree and medical degree at McGill University. He completed internal medicine residency training at the University of Ottawa, followed by advanced training through a fellowship in gastroenterology at McGill University and a fellowship in advanced endoscopy at UT Southwestern.
Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Shaikh joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2022.
Dr. Shaikh is a member of the American Gastroenterological Association and the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.
