Biography

Parth Upadhyaya DO, RPNI joined UT Southwestern Medical Center in 2022 as Assistant Professor in the department of Neurology in the section of Stroke and Cerebrovascular Diseases. He is board certified in both neurology and vascular neurology. He is credentialied for the interpretation of both transcranial doppler and carotid ultrasound studies by the American Society of Neuroimaing with RPNI designation. 

Clinical: Dr. Upadhyaya specializes in the diagnosis, evaluation, and managmenet of cerebrovascular diseases in both the inpatient and outpatient setting. 

Research: Dr. Upadhyaya has specific research interest in using neuroimaging and neurovascular sonography as imaging biomarkers for outcomes in stroke patients. 

Education: Dr. Upadhyaya is active in teaching medical students, neurology residents and vascular neurology fellows.
