Laleh Daftari, M.D.

Laleh Daftaribesheli, M.D. (Laleh Daftari, MD), serves as an Assistant Professor of Radiology at UT Southwestern Medical Center and a member of the Neuroradiology & Intervention Division, specializing in cross-sectional imaging of the neurological diseases including brain, head and neck, and spine imaging.

Dr. Daftari earned her medical degree from Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS) and completed a research fellowship at Harvard Massachusetts General Hospital.

She completed her residency in diagnostic radiology at UT Health San Antonio. Dr. Daftari pursued advanced training in Neuroradiology through fellowships at Johns Hopkins University. Prior to her current position at UT Southwestern, she worked as a neuroradiologist at Lucid Health.

At UT Southwestern, Dr. Daftari also serves on the Radiology Resident Clinical Competency Committee and CT Operations Committee.

Dr. Daftari is an active member of national and international professional organizations, including the Radiological Society of North America, the American Society of Neuroradiology, American Roentgen Ray Society, and American Society of Spine Radiology.
