Heejung Kim, Ph.D. Assistant Professor School Medical School Department Radiation Oncology Biography Heejung Kim, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor of Radiation Oncology at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She is part of the Department of Radiation Oncology’s Division of Medical Physics & Engineering. Dr. Kim received her B.S. in electrophysics at Kwangwoon University, her M.S. in radiation applied life science at Seoul National University, and her Ph.D. in biomedical engineering at Seoul National University as well. Her research interests include adaptive radiotherapy and artificial intelligence. Dr. Kim formerly served as a medical physicist in the Department of Radiation Oncology at Samsung Medical Center in Seoul, Korea, prior to assuming the role of Assistant Professor at UT Southwestern. Dr. Kim holds a Texas Medical Physicist License and is board-certified in therapeutic medical physics by the American Board of Radiology.
