Biography
Zieanna Chang, M.D. is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center and a member of its Division of General Internal Medicine.
Dr. Chang is from central Florida and completed her postgraduate medical training at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. She practiced as a hospice and palliative medicine physician in Detroit, Michigan before coming to UT Southwestern, drawn by the opportunities to collaborate with other medical subspecialty practitioners to promote primary palliative care including advanced care planning and symptom management concurrent with disease-directed treatment. She also facilitates interactive communication skills training for learners of all levels of experience.
Her outside interests include cooking, playing strategic boardgames, and listening to podcasts.
