Biography Rachel Naramore, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center and a member of its Division of General Internal Medicine. Originally from Johnson City, Tennessee, Dr. Naramore holds a bachelor's degree in chemistry and history from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, where she graduated summa cum laude. She earned her medical degree with honors in research at the University of Florida College of Medicine in Gainesville. She completed internal medicine residency training at the University of Alabama Birmingham. Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Naramore joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2021. Dr. Naramore is Chair of the Hospital Medicine Quality Improvement Committee at Parkland. Dr. Naramore’s interests outside of medicine include reading, spending time with friends and family, listening to podcasts, and exercising.
