Sanah Ladhani, M.D. Clinical Assistant Professor School Medical School Department Internal Medicine Biography Sanah Ladhani, M.D. is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center and a member of the Division of Hematology and Oncology. Originally from Dallas, Dr. Ladhani holds a bachelor's degree in molecular and cellular biology, with minor concentrations in chemistry and medicine, health, and society, which she received with honors from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, where she also completed her medical degree. She then obtained internal medicine residency training at Highland Hospital in Oakland, California, where she was Chief Resident. During her residency, Dr. Ladhani’s research in chronic liver disease and health disparities was published in several prominent academic journals, such as JAMA, Journal of Clinical Gastroenterology, and Oxford’s Alcohol and Alcoholism. Her work was also featured in NEJM Journal Watch. Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Ladhani joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2022. Personal Note Outside of medicine, Dr. Ladhani serves with the Human Rights Initiative of North Texas, studies interior design, explores local museums, and spends time with her family.
