  • Biography

    Sumit Singh, M.D., is an Associate Professor of Radiology at UT Southwestern Medical Center and a member of its Pediatric Radiology Division.

    Originally from India, Dr. Singh earned his Bachelor of Medicine Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree at Grant Medical College in Mumbai. He completed his residency in radiology at Assam Medical College & Hospital of Dibrugarh University in Assam. He then received advanced training in through fellowship programs in neuroradiology, advanced neuroradiology, thoracic imaging, and pediatric radiology at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee.

    Prior to joining the faculty in 2021, Dr. Singh was Clinical Associate Professor of Pediatric Radiology and Neuroradiology at Children's Hospital of Alabama in Birmingham, where he also served as Director of MRI Pediatric Imaging Services.

    Dr. Singh is certified by the American Board of Radiology, with additional certifications in neuroradiology and pediatric radiology.

    His clinical activities and research investigations have resulted in the publication of more than 15 peer-reviewed articles and two book chapters.

    Dr. Singh is an active member of the Society of Pediatric Radiology and the American Society of Neuroradiology. He also serves as a reviewer for the British Journal of RadiologyPediatric Radiology JournalJournal of Radiology Case ReportsJournal of Clinical Imaging Science, and the Journal of Clinical, Medical and Experimental Images.
