Colette Miesse, Ph.D. Assistant Professor School Medical School Department Psychiatry Biography Colette Miesse, Ph.D., completed an M.S. in Psychology and a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at the University of North Texas, College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences. Dr. Miesse's research interests include substance use and dependency, as well as the psychological, physical, and sexual abuse of women. Her teaching activities focus on evidence-based psychotherapies and the intake process, in addition to supervising psychology students across many levels of training. Her clinical care takes place at the Dallas VA Medical Center.
