Biography
Mohammed Al Shalal, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center, and a member of the Division of Hospital Medicine.
Originally from Iraq, Dr. Al Shalal completed his medical education at Al-Mustansiriyah University in Baghdad. He then received internal medicine residency training at Lincoln Medical Center in New York.
Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Al Shalal joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2021.
Dr. Al Shalal is an active member of the American College of Physicians and the Iraqi Doctor Association.
Personal Note
Outside of medicine, Dr. Al Shalal enjoys playing chess, reading, traveling, and spending time with his family.
